Betty J Skinner | Unsolved Murder | Cold Case

You have to be a special individual like Betty to touch so many people and face multiple disabilities I only seen two news pieces on Betty and it was related to another young transgender female who was also murdered in the same year (Brittany Stergis) I was reading some of the comments left on her obituary because I didn't ask permission I will not include their names.

- Betty was very faithful to her church. She always brought a smile to many faces. She was very gifted in PowerPoint presentations. She will be missed by many

- I went to high school with B Skinner. I always had fond memories of those times. She was a testament to the fact that you didn't need the perfect body, nor the eloquent speech to be a beautiful human being. She was the ray of sunshine that gave life to the world and all she touched.

- Betty was a brilliant, outspoken, wonderful woman. It was a pleasure to know her and a shock to learn of this terrible tragedy.

- I am very sad to hear of the loss of Betty. She was always very sweet and funny and it was a pleasure to work with her.

Afterthoughts

This was just a few of the touching comments left on the online guestbook obituary and it pains me to wrap my mind on how you even attempt to harm someone who is essentially defenseless? And being that she was in a facility where is footage? In this building nobody was able to identify any coming or going. Since she was in a assisted living facility was there any documentation? Most times you have to sign in and out in order to visit residents in this facilities. Were the caretakers questioned more?

All these different things make you wonder was enough done, in my mind there is no reason Betty's murder should have been left unsolved for this long of a time. If you have any information on this homicide please use the information listed below:
